Gerhalt He first appears in the town below Vulcanon's threshold, he is best known for his hairiness. He's not as good a fighter in my book as Zylo, but for the game, he's certainly one of the best. |
Karna She starts in a miniaturized kingdom, and is one of four that you get to pick from there. She's a healer, and if you find the right item, can become a master monk instead of a vicar, unlees you've used it on Sarah already. |
| Kazin He joins at the town to the northeast of Granseal. After promotion, the option of him becoming a sorcerer rather than a wizard depends on possession of a specific item. |
Kiwi He joins when the countryside of Granseal is collapsing. Rescue him from the smallest building, near the zoo, and you not only get to name him, but when he's promoted, it's to the rank of 'monster' of all things. |
May She is wandering around Ribble, and is looking for something to do. She's an archer, rather than a knight, but she's still pretty cool. She's definitely a better marksman than Lyle was. |
| Oddler He first appears in the town below Vulcanon's threshold, after that worthy throws a fit to destroy a demon attacking. He has amnesia and is blinded by the lava blast. But there's more to this kid than (pardon the pun) meets the eye. |
Peter He appears in the second Granseal, and offers to help you if you'll help him. After Vulcanon throws a fit, he still aids you, until the end of the game. His flight abilities are quite valuable, but he's sometimes more of a chicken than a phoenix. |
Sarah She's there from the beginning, as a cleric. After promotion, the option of her becoming a master monk rather than a vicar depends on possession of a specific item, unless you vouch to use it on Karna instead. |
| Sheela She's training in the northern monastery on Granseal and is the one natural master monk available. Karna and Sarah can be turned into one, with the right item, but only one of them gets to use the item. She joins because you are fighting the man who killed her fiance, if I remember right, and she's not the type to mope around about it. |
