| Xion After washing up on the shores of a river, this amnesiac is tended to by an elven woman and a doctor, both of whom are kind folk, but definitely expect chores or money to repay their kindness. He is found with two rings, one of which washes away as he's rescued, but it shows to have the interesting ability of returning to its brother ring, which is stuck to his index finger. Because of this, his partner in battle dictactes his fighting style, personality, and soul type. |
Doctor The man kind enough to tend Xion's wounds and to only want chores in return is a vast store of knowledge. He also happens to be one of the heroes of the land, along with Xion's parents and the minstrel that shows up at the end of the game. |
Neige Armed with magic, secrets and a cold attitude, this woman's very name means 'Snow White,' which has to be some kind of pun. She warms up to you later, especially after you learn she's the princess of the country trying to take over, and she's on your side because her brother's nuts. |
| Keiner He's a samurai you have to fight a couple of times, but eventually he does side with you in your efforts to stop his homeland's efforts to take over, since he doesn't want his brother's insanity to get THAT destructive. |
Volg As if this game weren't full of enough secrets, this barkeeper happens to hail from the land that steps in at the end of the game, to seal the evil that is awakening thanks to Keiner's and Neige's brother's machinations. Not only that, but he's friends with the leader of that land. |
Lazarus This guy's only secret lies in his name. That alone should point at what happens to him during the game. |
