It turns out that his family line tends toward manifesting a devil or demon that gets stronger with each generation it's manifested in. Heihachi's just mad because he can't use the gene himself. |
Eddy After going to jail for a trumped up reason, he's taught Capoeria by an old man in the facility. When he gets out, he winds up meeting the man's granddaughter, who also knows the style of fighting. He enters the tournaments mostly to clear his or his teacher's names. |
Hwoarang His reason for joining the tournaments? To kick Jin's butt. After Jin fought him to a draw once in what should have been a set up fight for Hwoarang to win, Jin has been on Hwoarang's list of least liked people. Of course, it doesn't help that Hwoarang's mad about his mentor disappearing around the time Ogre was unearthed. |
| Jun Jin's mother was a pain in the butt to beat in her own right, before Ogre got her. As one of the most difficult opponents in Tekken 2, it was great to see that she is still a kindhearted woman, unlike Anna or Nina, who are hard, and mean as nails. |
Baek Hwoarang's teacher goes missing when Ogre arrives, and pretty much everyone assumes that like Jun, who disappeared at the same time, and a lot of other first generation Tekken-ers, he's dead. |
Lee Raised by Heihachi to take over for the missing Kazuya, whom Heihachi threw off a cliff as a child, it is a bitter disappointment to have his "brother" show up alive, and his "father" suddenly ignoring his existence. He doesn't let it get him down, though, and manages to be a multimillionaire in his own right by Tekken 4. |
